Think you've got what it takes to be a celebrity correspondent? E! Entertainment is running a contest to find a reporter for its red carpet coverage of the 58th Annual Primetime Emmys. One lucky winner will get to fly out to the Emmys (held on August 27th) and do at least one celebrity interview alongside Ryan Seacrest. In order to be considered, you need to send in a tape showing off your interviewing skills or take part in street auditions around Los Angeles. In honor of the contest, I've created a list of tips to help you make it to the Shrine Auditorium:


1. Don't mention Joan Rivers.
2. Don't make fun of Dakota Fanning.
3. Don't ask people if they're wearing underwear.
4. Don't light matches around Ryan Seacrest's hair.
5. SMILE!!!
