Blanche is Back!
Former Golden Girl, Rue McClanahan, is coming back to TV! The Emmy-award winning actress has signed on to star in Ryan's Life as the grandmother of a gay teen. The six-episode series will premiere on the gay TV channel, here!, in 2007. The VP of Original Programming at here! says, "We are truly honored that Ms. McClanahan has agreed to join us on this project. She is an icon with a strong and loyal fanbase in the LGBT community, and we know they will love her in this role." Is it too much to hope that Betty White will make a cameo?
