Friday Night Lights- Next Season is ONLY 13 eps
According to TV Guide's Ausiello, next season's Friday Night Lights is definitely only going to be for 13 episodes. According to show EP, Jason Katims, the NBC/DirecTV deal only allows the shortened season. He also says, "We're going to be almost finished shooting these episodes before they air on DirecTV, and we'll definitely be done shooting these before they get on NBC. So the shows will have aired and I'm sure DirecTV and NBC will want to have a little time to gauge how this is all working and see what the future holds."As for the cast, they will all be back for next year's season. Gotta be happy about that, but no hope for a back 9 sorta makes this all so bittersweet.
